GAS TECHNICIAN 2
The fifteen (15) modules build on the skills that the technician already possesses from Gas Technician 3 training and prepares them to write the G2 exam for licensing to work on gas and propane installation and servicing up to 400,000 Btuh (120 kW) without supervision.
Course length: 404 hours, and offered both full and part-time evening sessions. Hands-on practical training is included in this total.
Total cost includes the fifteen courses the TSSA exam and safety certificate courses of Dangerous Goods, Lock/Out Tag/Out.

Vocational-Approved under the Private Career Colleges Act (2005) and by Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), Gas Technician 2 delivers the next fifteen (15) modules of the Gas Technician curriculum and builds on the skills that the trainees mastered in their G3 program. This material prepares trainees to write the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) G2 exam for licensing to work as a natural gas and propane technician, installing and servicing appliances up to 400,000 Btuh (120 kW) without supervision. Course length: 404 hours, and offered both full-time day or part-time evening sessions. Hands-on practical training hours are a major part of this course as well. Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Lock/Out Tag/Out, and Basic First Aid/CPR are included.
A certificate of course completion is provided.
